HSJB — High Security Junction Box

The HSJB is a tamper-monitored junction box that retrofits directly to standard conduit boxes. It upgrades existing field joints into tamper-detecting enclosures for Grade 3 environments — with no conduit modification required.

The HSJB has been independently tested by BRE Global against selected clauses of BS EN 50131-3, commensurate with Grade 3, Type B ancillary equipment (report P130175). All tests passed: tamper protection, tamper detection on both opening and removal, 5 joule impact to the IK08 test method, and IP40 ingress protection. Read the full BRE test report (PDF).

Manufactured additively in the UK to fixed, repeatable print profiles — the BRE results demonstrate that production-grade additive manufacturing is a legitimate process for security applications.

How It Works (Installer Workflow)

1. Fix two screws adjacent to the existing, standard conduit box — drill guide used for positioning
2. Terminate cables and tamper loop into the supplied 12-point terminal block, secured to the conduit box
3. Fit HSJB over the conduit box and secure using two security screws (provided)
