Tier8 HSJB High Security Junction Box fitted over a conduit box on galvanised conduit

Got one of our sample packs? The unit in your hand is exactly what ships — same ASA polymer, same fixed print profile, same batch traceability. Below: the proof, the install method and how to order.

A true retrofit for Grade 3 environments

Upgrade existing field joints into tamper-detecting enclosures — with no conduit modification required.

No modification to existing containment

Fits over any standard 20 mm or 25 mm conduit box using just two additional screws — drill guide provided. No rework, no coordination with the containment installer, no time lost on site.

Independently tested by BRE Global

Tamper detection on both opening and removal, 5 joule impact to the IK08 test method and IP40 ingress — every test passed, in writing, in a report you can hand to the system designer.

Cuts total install cost on upgrades

Ideal for Grade 3 upgrade projects where full re-containment isn’t practical or cost-effective. Removable 12-point terminal block keeps cable termination fast and clean on site.

Tested, not claimed

The HSJB has been independently tested by BRE Global against selected clauses of BS EN 50131-3, commensurate with Grade 3, Type B ancillary equipment — report P130175. The BRE results demonstrate that production-grade additive manufacturing is a legitimate process for security applications.

Independent testing is not certification: overall system conformity remains the responsibility of the system designer or installer. Suitable for use in systems designed to comply with PD 6662:2017.

Tamper alarm generated before access to internal elements was possible — combined front and rear detection, NC contacts.

Fitted in three steps

  1. Fix two screws adjacent to the existing conduit box — drill guide used for positioning.
  2. Terminate cables and tamper loop into the supplied 12-point terminal block, secured to the conduit box.
  3. Fit the HSJB over the conduit box and secure with the two security screws provided.
