Who is responsible. Tier8 Limited (company no. 16395318, registered office Corner House, 28 Huddersfield Road, Newhey, Rochdale OL16 3QF) is the data controller for personal data collected through tier8.co.uk and orders@tier8.co.uk. Contact: orders@tier8.co.uk. Tier8 Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration reference ZB970529).
What we collect and why
- Orders: name, company, address, email, phone and order history — to fulfil your order and keep the records the law requires us to keep (legal bases: performance of a contract; legal obligation). Kept for 6 years after the end of the tax year of the order (HMRC requirement).
- Enquiries and sample requests: your contact details and what you asked — to answer you and follow up (legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to trade enquiries). Kept for 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Payment: card payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. Tier8 never sees or stores card numbers.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the shop work: IONOS SE (website hosting and email), our payment provider, Royal Mail (name and address on the delivery label), and our accounting software for invoicing. We never sell personal data and never share it for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it — email orders@tier8.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
Cookies
The shop uses only the cookies WooCommerce needs to run the basket and checkout. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you don’t see a cookie banner.
