Who we are
This website is operated by Tier8 Limited (“Tier8”, “we”), registered in England & Wales, company no. 16395318, registered office Corner House, 28 Huddersfield Road, Newhey, Rochdale OL16 3QF. VAT no. GB 506 7787 59. Contact: orders@tier8.co.uk, 01706 489765. These terms apply to the use of tier8.co.uk and to all orders placed through it. Placing an order means you accept them.
Our products
Tier8 designs and manufactures mounting and enclosure components for security and technical installations. Products are designed for installation by competent installers. References to standards (for example BS EN 50131-3) describe testing carried out on specific products, as stated on each product page; they are not a certification of your installation. Where a test report is cited, it is linked so you can read exactly what was tested.
Ordering and prices
- All prices are in GBP and shown exclusive of VAT; VAT is added at the prevailing rate and shown before you pay.
- Payment is taken at checkout by the methods shown there. Trade customers may instead order by purchase order — email orders@tier8.co.uk.
- An order is accepted when we email dispatch confirmation. We may decline an order (for example a pricing error or stock issue) and will refund any payment immediately if so.
- Prices may change at any time; the price at the time of your order applies to that order.
Delivery, risk and ownership
Delivery is as described on our Delivery page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes when we receive payment in full.
If you are a consumer
- You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Tell us by email within those 14 days, then return the goods within 14 days of telling us. We refund within 14 days of receiving the return, including standard outbound delivery. We may reduce the refund if the goods have been handled beyond what is needed to inspect them.
- In practice our Returns & Refunds policy gives you longer: 30 days.
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
If you are a business customer
- The consumer cancellation right above does not apply to business purchases, but our 30-day returns policy does.
- Our liability in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for it. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of contracts, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
- Any terms on your purchase order that conflict with these terms do not apply unless we have agreed them in writing.
Faulty goods
If anything arrives damaged or develops a fault, email orders@tier8.co.uk with your order number and a photo. We will replace or refund faulty goods and cover the return cost. Consumers additionally have the statutory remedies in the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the 30-day right to reject.
Website content
Content on this site (text, images, drawings and documents) belongs to Tier8 Limited. Datasheets and installation guides may be downloaded and shared for the purpose of specifying, purchasing and installing our products.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland keep the protections of the law where they live. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (non-exclusive for consumers).
